Dr Mazalin specialises in the treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders, and health psychology issues. His research interests include anxiety disorders, GP health, and the psychological effects of Internet social networking. He has various journal and popular media publications. Assessments and court reports are also available upon request.
Dr Mazalin has worked with adults, adolescents, and children in psychiatric, forensic, and community health settings. Adopting the scientist-practitioner model, his practice involves the use of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and Mindfulness.
Dr Mazalin holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Monash University. He also has an Honours degree and a Bachelor of Social Science. He is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), the Clinical College of the APS, and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
