Sessions

Standard consultations last for 50-minutes. Longer consultations can also be
organised. Your individual needs and goals usually determine the number of
sessions required.

Our standard fee per 50-minute consultation is $260.

Fees are payable on the day of service delivery, unless alternative arrangements
have been discussed.

Under a Mental Health Care Plan organised by a GP or psychiatrist, 10 sessions in
a calendar year can be claimed through Medicare. The amount Medicare rebates
back to you per consultation is $145.25. Rebates may also be available under an
Enhanced Primary Care plan. Fewer sessions can be covered under this plan, and
the rebates are lower. Please speak to your GP to assess if you are eligible.

Private health insurance with the extra cover for psychological care, may also be
used. Different covers and policies may vary, so please speak to your insurer to
learn more.

There are also other schemes such as TAC and WorkCover, that may assist
with the funding for psychological services. Access to these will depend on
your circumstances. You will first need to speak to your GP to explore eligibility
and the details for a claim.

A Cancelation Policy is important for the running of any private psychology
practice. We require a minimum of 24-business hours notice for the cancelation or re-
scheduling of an appointment. The full fee will otherwise be invoiced, as we 
are unable to re-arrange the schedule at such short notice.
